I agree that the Bushies have to go. I would like to see it more about total mismanagement rather than anti-war fervor. Katrina and the public health crisis(es) we face asa result of the non-investment in American well-being and infra-structure at home are examples of criminal negligence. These are the worst people to lead us in my lifetime (65).
Tired? I think this regime has energized us citizens. Promises unfulfilled? Didn't he promised to unite us, not divide us. Okay, we are a little divided (polarized might be a better term), but he has united very many of us also... TO CALL FOR IMPEACHMENT!
"We can act and create an entirely different future. If you burn with desire for such a world, if you have felt hopeless and frustrated in the face of the maddening, murderous direction things have been going in, now is the time to act, now is the time to step forward and declare that we will not go down their road!" -- from "Dramatically Changing the Terms of the Battle"
A majority of people in the U.S. want to see Bush and Cheney out of office. According to a January 2007 Newsweek poll, 58% wish Bush and Cheney were gone already. Yet the mass media and the Democratic Party leadership continue to treat this majority as if we were a lunatic fringe. With Show It Off! and A28 (April 28) (http://www.a28.org/) we will show that impeachment is the will of the people in an indelible and unmistakable way.
If just 5% of this 58% were to show off their sentiments by wearing an Impeachment T-shirt, or an armband, or a bright peach sticker, or a button, or hat, or scarf, or tie, we would have MILLIONS of people expressing how we feel.
And then it wouldn't matter if the mass media continue to ignore or deride the impeachment movement because WE WOULD BE EVERYWHERE - in school, at work, on sidewalks, in stores, on buses, subways, trains, planes and in the park. And tens of millions would see this and be heartened by it. And the ones who still don't know what's going on or the ones who endorse torture and war crimes will know in their bellies that the fight is now on!

President John F. Kennedy said "Ask Not what Your Contry Can Do For You, Ask what You Can Do For Your Country"
At this critical moment in our history, the best thing we can do for our country today is to "Impeach Bush and Cheney".
